Mumbai

Of Vada Pav, Bollywood, and Beaches

Mumbai, ‘the city of dreams’, is one of the biggest metropolises of the country. The finance and entertainment capital of India is known for beaches and mouth-watering street food. There is nothing like sitting at the marine drive in the night, listening to your favorite songs, and enjoying an ice popsicle from a local joint.

November-February: The winter months in Mumbai are the most delightful. Winters in this coastline are mild and the weather is ideal for outdoor activities and sightseeing. Many cultural events, such as the famed Kala Ghoda Arts Festival, take place in February. If you enjoy literature, music, or the arts, this is an excellent time to schedule a trip.

March-May: Humidity begins to rise in March as summer approaches. Even though the weather isn't perfect for going out in the sun, the evenings are pleasant.

June-October: Mumbai's famous monsoon season. While travelling during these months may appear tough, once in Mumbai, you will learn that life never stops. Monsoon is an ideal time to plan weekend vacations or road trips to several hill stations in the area. Matheran, Igatpuri, Lonavala, Khandala, and Mahabaleshwar are among them.
